Many people wonder how would we earn money from YouTube for uploading videos. Yes, this is serious. You can earn money from YouTube by publishing videos. Also, the service is available for publishers from India.
Generating revenue from YouTube is not that easy. The hardest step is to get your YouTube account eligible for monetization. Once the account get monetized, you can generate revenues somewhat easy if you create content frequently and get reasonable amount of views.

First of all, let's see how all these things work.
Ordinary accounts aren't allowed to show ads. In order to show ads, you need a monetised YouTube account.

But to the best of my knowledge, it's based on the total no. of views that your channel has got. Once your channel pass that total no. of views, monetization options automatically appear on your YouTube home page.

So, your YouTube account is monetized now. Now, to receive the payments, there's one more step involved. You need to associate a Google Adsense account with your YouTube account.

After your total unpaid earnings cross $10, your earnings would be withheld. The same would be displayed on your Adsense home. Then you'll be sent a postal mail from Google to your payment address. It should look something like this.

This is the last formality with your Adsense account. Now you can wait for your 'Total unpaid earnings to reach $100 (Payment Threshold). Once it reach $100, payments will be sent to you via your preferred payment method.

- True view In-Stream ads : These are actually video ads. The kind of ads that you watch in TV. These kind of ads appear just before the start of your video. It appears inside the video player itself. For these ads, you get paid for each impression. Means, the viewer doesn't have to click on it. If the ad get played, you get paid. There are two types of this ad : Skippable and non-skippable. Payment criteria remains same for both.
- When an user opens your video, your YouTube account automatically requests for ads and some kind of the above said ads will be allotted for your video.
HOW DO YOU GET TO PLACE ADS INSIDE YOUR VIDEOS?

- If your request has been rejected, you can send request again only after 4 months or so.

- You can update your Payment address and preferred method for payment.
- YouTube earnings will not be displayed on the Home page. You don't have to worry about it. Go to Performance reports and you can see your daily report. Multiply the 'CPC' (Cost Per Click) together with no. of clicks in a row to get your earnings for that day.
